Scottish Electrician Launches EICR Software That Cuts Report Time by 85%
Official Public Beta Launch
After months of development and testing with UK electricians, TestFast entered public beta in January 2026. The platform eliminates what founder Michael Adrian calls the “Thoroughness Tax”—where doing proper inspections means sacrificing your evening to paperwork.
Built by a time-served electrician, the platform introduces NoteScribe™ OCR technology to digitize handwritten test sheets and automate BS 7671 observations. Beta users report reducing EICR completion time from 2-3 hours to approximately 20 minutes.
